Early last week Jasmine began to "discover" toys, particularly things with big eyes and smiles.
Tommy Turtle was the first toy we bought for her (pre birth!) and has become a bit of a favourite! There's also Coco the (chocolate brown) Bear, Flossy the (pink fluffy) Bear, Camen Bear and Brie the Bunny (both with a blankets for a body!) Follow up favoritism is shared around a bit but Brie's ears are a bit of a hit! A big "bug" on her Lamaze mat gets a lot of attention too (big smiley face...of course!) Foot Finders are effective at getting her attention, black and white striped socks for high contrast and little cat and dog rattles sewn onto the toes mean Jasmine will be reaching for her feet and putting them in her mouth in no time!
Ahh Savour the time that the toys are low-tech and cute, before you know it it will be, bikes, computers, mobile phones and BOYS! AAAAAAaaaaaaaag!
